Elder Walter Barron, pastor of Neighborhood Bible Way Revival Center in Fort Pierce, Florida has a remarkable compassion for God’s Word as well as a love for God’s people. This has been demonstrated throughout his ministry in many ways.
He answered the call to the ministry under the leadership of the late Apostle Johnnie Washington. He began his minister as an evangelist preaching and teaching the messenger of salvation and deliverance to people in many cities in the U.S including the Grand Bahamas Island.
He served faithfully under the leadership of the late Bishop Harry Gordon when he was commissioned to begin a weekly radio broadcast called the “minutes of truth” that aired for 7 plus years.
Elder Barron received a mandate from God to start Bible study sessions within the neighborhood. The Bible Study group grew into a mission then later a church that earned the named, “Neighborhood Bible Way Revival Center” because of the humble beginnings among the neighbors. He began his pastorate in 1986.
Pastor Barron strong desire to help people is revealed in providing counsel and spiritual guidance to individuals of all walks of life, particularly youth, families, as well as entrepreneurs, and also assisting in developing effective outreach ministries in the church such as the Prison Team ministries, and street ministry. He has been instrumental in partnering with community based programs such as, Feed the Children, World Changers organization, AIDS/HIV awareness programs, and the MAN-UP group.
Elder Barron is a man of strong Faith and wisdom. He stands firm on the scripture of Isaiah 54:17a No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; His vision is clear and without compromise. His goal is to help build lives daily through mentoring and ministering.
